Durban native Dylan Wilson is a writer, performer and long-time friend of the Durban Film Festival, which he has been attending, supporting and volunteering with for many years. With a deep passion for cinema, he has helped select feature films, judged shorts in competition, assisted on DIFF’s Social pages, facilitated panels and covered the festival for various media.
Dylan is a well-known film influencer, critic, creative and extreme cinephile who curates an independent Durban based film blog, 031cinephile, with a focus on Indie, queer, art house and alternative cinema. An avid appreciator of the arts, he has always supported and promoted local festivals and events. Dylan is also actively involved with the Durban Gay & Lesbian Film Festival.
