Liz Cartwright is an award-winning writer/director from the West Midlands. She has written and directed a variety of comedy short films which have played at festivals and won awards including the Royal Television Society student awards. Liz is part of the talent collective at Sandwich Club Productions, run by creative producer and BFI talent manager Noel Goodwin. She is currently developing comedic television material with Sandwich Club Productions. Liz is also a mentee of writer/director Trix Worrell (Desmonds) through production company Distant Voices. She has worked with the company helping in the development of scripted ideas and receives scriptwriting mentorship from Trix to develop her comedic voice. Liz is also part of the The Tits Comedy Collective chosen for her sketch ‘I’m Looking to Speak with Nana’ that was performed at The Blackbox Theatre in Birmingham. In 2021, Liz graduated with a first class honours in Film Production from the University of Gloucestershire.
