Jasper is an emerging film practitioner and a recent master’s graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts' School of Film and Television. His experience of growing up on child support in Byron Bay - known for housing Hollywood stars and boasting the most desired property market in Australia - motivated him to make films that are accessible and inspire empathy through truth-telling. His academic background in journalism informs this desire to make socially grounded films, ones that prioritise people and their stories. He believes there are important stories to tell on this land and wants to be part of a future that is both bold and respectful in telling them.
