HIBERNATION

Leandros is Greek-South African and Daniel South African. They are both Honours graduates of AFDA (The South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance) specialising in writing and directing. Their collaboration began with the short film CALF in 2021, which premiered at the Durban International Film Festival. Their work focuses on slow, poetic storytelling in a South African context, which borders on the boundary between realistic and unnatural. HIBERNATION is their first Afrikaans film.
