Renan is a founding partner of the production company Baraúna. He has made six short films, with more than 180 selections in festivals, and fifty awards, including best director at the 45th Brasilia Festival of Brazilian Cinema. He was the Assistant Director of the feature film A MORTE HABITA A NOITE (selected for the 49th Rotterdam Film Festival) and more than thirty-five films, including ELITE SQUAD II (Berlin Film Festival 2011). He is developing his first feature film. Born in Clermont-Ferrand, Joana has lived in Brazil for 20 years, where she began her career in cinema in the art department. In ten years, she has made over thirty productions, including AQUARIUS, CANGAÇO NOVO, and UNINHABITABLE. As a director, she made her first short film UNA PLAZA EN CUBA during her studies at EICTV in 2018. In 2021, Joana made the short film ATÉ AGORA, currently in the process of completion.
