A young man still suffering the effects of childhood trauma at the hands of an abusive father and haunted by the memory of his mother’s suicide, has found love and support in the arms of a beautiful woman.  However, when his father dies, past traumas are triggered, and he spirals into a dark place. This impacts negatively on his relationship and sets the stage for his seduction by an ancient demon.

Thabiso Camilo Christopher

Thabiso Christopher is a young Director-Screenwriter and former structural engineer who got his break into the film industry thanks to the National Film and Television Foundation of South Africa’s Youth Filmmakers Project. He wrote and directed the award-winning short The Turning Son (2019), he went on to write the screenplays for the feature films Rage of a Lioness (2019), The Last Fight (2019), Pride of a Lioness (2019). He made his feature film directorial debut with Offside (2022), followed up by PRIME (2022), meeting a childhood dream of being an Auteur filmmaker. He is influenced by and draws inspiration from the filmmakers from Nuevo Cine Mexicano, French New Wave, the post-Neorealism Italian Cinema, New Hollywood Movement, as well as contemporary Canadian and British filmmakers.
