Justin Amorim founded the production company Promenade at the age of 22. Born in Toronto, Canada, he moved to Portugal during his childhood. His passion for motion pictures led him to New York City to complete a BFA in Film & Video at the School of Visual Arts. Simultaneously, he worked with the Tribeca Film Institute & Festival during the years he spent there. He wrote, produced and directed his first feature film Leviano (2018), which premiered internationally at the prestigious Thessaloniki International Film Festival and was sold to HBO and Amazon. He wrote and directed the TV series 5Starz (2021) and has also produced numerous features, short films and TV series. In 2022, he was one of the producers selected for Match Me!, part of the Locarno Pro industry section of the Locarno International Film Festival and is currently in pre-production of the series Mercy (2025).
