Antoinette Steyn

Antoinette Steyn (born 2001) is a South African journalist with a passion for telling intimate, character-driven stories. She holds an Honours degree in Journalism and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business, both from Stellenbosch University. Originally from the Western Cape, Antoinette now lives in Johannesburg, where she works as a writer. She directed the short documentary ‘For His Sake’, which explores themes of family, legacy, and community. With her combined background in storytelling and global perspectives, she brings authenticity, curiosity, and empathy to her work behind the camera. This is her directorial debut.
