Jane Argall has long been a researcher, writer, editor and activist on human rights matters in South Africa. Her work has included preparing the final report of the Truth Commission. For the last 15 years, Jane has been involved in curriculum development and implementation of programmes to assist prisoners as they prepare for reintegration. She is presently a PhD hopeful, addressing the questions of historical violence and trauma and how this was and continues to be expressed in violence.
