Lauren Fletcher is the Audiovisual Project Manager at the French Institute of South Africa (IFAS). Through co-creation and strategic partnerships, the IFAS Audiovisual team fosters collaboration between the French and South African audiovisual industries, developing cross-continental projects in film, series, animation, video games, podcasts, and digital arts to support artistic exchange and industry growth. With over 12 years of experience in the arts and culture sector, Lauren has managed and curated large scale cultural projects and leading creative events such as the International Public Art Festival, Creativate Digital Arts Festival (National Arts Festival), and Fak’ugesi African Digital Innovation Festival Exhibitions. She has also worked as production manager on major South African events, including Design Indaba, FNB JoburgArtFair, Turbine Art Fair and the Sanlam Handmade Contemporary Fair. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) from Rhodes University and is committed to fostering innovation and cross-cultural dialogue in the global audiovisual landscape.
