Nobulali Vimba’s journey in animation began way before she studied animation. Growing up in a family of story tellers, she discovered how impactful storytelling could be and wanted to show the world that each person has a story. After matriculating she discovered that animation was in fact a career option. Despite her studying civil engineering her passion for animation remained and she began a journey of self-discovery. After studying at CFAD for two years she changed to game designing and then software development. She gained extensive technical skills including software language and complex coding skills. The chance receipt of an application for the internship in animation and VFX changed her direction. Since completing her internship at Katanimate Animation Studio she works there as a 3D generalist, specializing in Animation and 3D modelling.
