A passionate writer and director originally from Empangeni and now based in Durban, he began his filmmaking journey after completing the Sediba Scriptwriting Course under the mentorship of leading script editor Julie Hall. He has since completed directing and production courses, written and directed student films, and attended the iSiphethu Scriptwriting Course. He secured script development funding from the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission and participated in the National Film and Video Foundation Youth Filmmakers Program, writing and directing Love and Maskandi, distributed by SABC 1.He won Best Feature Film at EFFA and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Screen Arts and Technology at Durban University of Technology. His debut feature, Solitary, funded by the Durban Film Office, is a romance-musical inspired by his life experiences.
