Beverley Mitchell is a storyteller with over 30 years of experience in film and television across Africa, Europe and the Caribbean. Extensive work as showrunner, writer, script editor, producer, line producer, and development executive, with a strong focus on scripted drama, international co- productions, historical narratives, identity and memory. Passionate about storytelling she has taught narrative storytelling and story structure at various tertiary institutions. She has led Writers’ Rooms in Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Africa and Ghana as well as Guadeloupe and Martinique in the Caribbean, to elevate the craft of storytelling to produce high premium African and Caribbean content.
