Azza Elhosseiny is an Egyptian filmmaker and cultural manager with over two decades of experience in independent theatre and film trends. She is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Luxor African Film Festival, where she leads the festival’s artistic vision and industry programs supporting emerging filmmakers and independent cinema across Africa and the MENA region. She has established a range of cultural projects, including cinema clubs, funding initiatives, and platforms for women filmmakers and producers, and has served on juries and industry panels at numerous Arab, African, and international film festivals. In addition to her cultural leadership, she has directed several short films and is currently working on her first feature-length film.
