Eva du Preez is an award-winning South African director, editor, and producer working in film and television since 2012. She has edited acclaimed series including Trompoppie, White Lies, Niggies, and Spinners. She rose to prominence, winning Best Editing at the kykNET Silwerskermfees for Kanarie, Poppie Nongena, and Die Tragiese Saak van Pamina Vermaak. She has received multiple SAFTA awards, including for Nêrens, Noord-Kaap, Runs in the Family, and Death of a Whistleblower. Expanding into directing, she co-directed the Showmax series Wyfie. Her first solo-directed series, Die Oord, is currently airing on kykNET. The series was created by Christiaan Olwagen and produced by Wolf light.
