Lerato Bokako is a South African film festival programmer and cultural worker. She is currently the Artistic and Programming Director for FAME Shorts Film Festival and also programs for the New York African Diaspora International Film Festival. Passionate about African and indie cinema, her work centres on connecting audiences with exceptional films from across the continent and beyond. Alongside festival programming, she has worked across film production and the wider cultural sector.
